What We Offer

You will meet with a qualified SAP in person who will conduct a comprehensive substance abuse assessment. You will be asked questions about your violation, drug and alcohol use history, employment history, abuse history, family history, and any other relevant information. This evaluation is used to determine the level of care for your SAP Program. An initial evaluation report will be submitted to the employer/DER with SAP's recommendations.

Recommendations

The qualified SAP will make recommendations for education and/or treatment based on your specific needs. You will be required to follow through with the recommendations within a timely manner.

Follow-up Evaluation

Upon completion of the education or treatment you will meet with your Qualified SAP to us to complete your follow evaluation with the SAP Evaluator. The qualified SAP will determine if you were compliant/non-compliant and a follow-up evaluation report will be submitted to your employer/DER.

Follow-up Plan/After-care

Once SAP determines compliance to recommendations. You will be cleared to take a return to duty test. The SAP Evaluator will send your evaluation to your employer or third party consortium, which will also include a follow-up plan and any additional recommendation if applicable. You take a return to duty test and pass it. Your employer or third party consortium will report this information and you will able to return to safety sensitive duty and go back to work. Please be advised that you will still be subject to unannounced/observed drug screens at your employers discretion.
